Grilled bananas with cinnamon butter

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 banana(s), should be well ripe
  • 80 g butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Super simple dessert, very quick to prepare.

Mix the butter with the cinnamon and sugar. I simply use a fork. Chill the butter in the refrigerator. After grilling, when most of the heat has subsided, simply place the 4 bananas with the peel on the grill. When the bananas turn black (after about 10-15 minutes), turn them over and continue grilling on the other side (another 10 minutes). When they are black on both sides and very soft, they are done. Now cut open the banana skin with a sharp knife and arrange the bananas on the plates. Place a piece of cinnamon butter next to the banana on the plate so that it begins to melt slightly. Now enjoy… The bananas can of course also be fried in a pan. With the skin on, too, of course. But be careful, the draining banana liquid sticks to the pan quite strongly, so it might be better to use an older pan.
