Grilled meat in marinade according to grandma's recipe

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 slice(s) of meat, for grilling as desired
  • 3 large onions
  • 6 tbsp mustard
  • 6 pinch(s) pepper
  • 1 bottle of dark beer
  • 1 clove(s) garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 20 minutes

Our family recipe

Wash the meat and pat dry. Clean the onions and garlic and slice them thinly. Season the meat generously with pepper and then coat it with mustard. In a tall container, alternate layers of meat and onions, occasionally adding a few pieces of garlic. Once everything is in the container, pour in the beer until it’s covered. Be careful not to rinse off the mustard. Now everything can be covered and refrigerated overnight. Add a little salt after grilling. The onions can be roasted in a grill pan and served as a small side dish.
