Grilled pepper and onion skewers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onions, quarter them, and separate the leaves. Wash the peppers, deseed them, and remove the white pith. Quarter the peppers and then cut them into larger square pieces. Then thread two onion pieces and one pepper piece onto skewers, one after the other, until all the pieces are used up. Season with salt and pepper and grill on an open grill for about 20 minutes. Cooking time varies depending on the heat and the size of the vegetables.
