Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 sausages (marjoram grilled sausages)
- 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
- 1 pack of cheese, Emmental cheese slices
- 400 g bacon, streaky in thin slices
- 6 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- tomato(s)
- Parsley
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Halve the sausages lengthwise and spread mustard on the cut sides. Cut the cheese into strips, place them on the sausage halves, and fold them together. Wrap each with 2-3 slices of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Mix the oil with the marjoram and paprika. Place the sausages on the grill, brush with the seasoned oil, and fry until browned. Arrange on plates and garnish with tomatoes and parsley.
