Grissini with Herbs
The perfect grissini with herbs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Sifted flour
- 20 g Dry yeast
- 275 ml Water
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 4 teaspoon Tomato pesto
- 1 teaspoon Chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon Pepper from the grinder
- 1 teaspoon Szechuan pepper
- 1 teaspoon Dried ginger
- 1 tablespoon Caraway seeds
- Using the flour, yeast, water, salt, olive oil, tomato paste and half of the other ingredients, knead a dough. Let rest for about 20 minutes and then knead again.
- Unroll to a height of 6-7 mm, let rise again. Cut into strips 6-7 mm wide, brush with water, then sprinkle with the remaining herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 200 degrees for about 18 minutes, allow to cool. Store in a tin can after cooling or eat immediately
