Grissini with Herbs

The perfect grissini with herbs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Sifted flour
  • 20 g Dry yeast
  • 275 ml Water
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 teaspoon Tomato pesto
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 teaspoon Szechuan pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Caraway seeds
  1. Using the flour, yeast, water, salt, olive oil, tomato paste and half of the other ingredients, knead a dough. Let rest for about 20 minutes and then knead again.
  2. Unroll to a height of 6-7 mm, let rise again. Cut into strips 6-7 mm wide, brush with water, then sprinkle with the remaining herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 200 degrees for about 18 minutes, allow to cool. Store in a tin can after cooling or eat immediately
