Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s), sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper(s), sliced
  • 675 g minced beef, lean
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp curry (Java curry)
  • 100 g grapes, seedless
  • 75 g apricot(s), dried, chopped
  • 100 g cashew nuts
  • 250 ml beef stock
  • 200 g peas
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt the butter and sauté the onion and green bell pepper until soft. Add the meat, salt, and curry powder and brown. Stir in the grapes, cashews, and apricots, then add the beef stock and cook for 20 minutes. Then add the peas and bell pepper and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve with rice and chutney, if desired.
