Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 liter apple juice
  • ½ liter of mineral water
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 10 stalks of ground elder
  • 2 stalks of lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 10 minutes

Herbal refreshment drink

Wash the herbs and shake dry. Wash and slice the lemon. Pour the apple juice into a sufficiently large container and add the herbs and lemon slices. Let stand for a few hours or overnight, then discard the herbs. Pour in the mineral water and enjoy chilled. Ground elder contains high levels of potassium, vitamin C, carotene, and iron. It is effective against rheumatism, gout, and arthritis. It also has antispasmodic, detoxifying, and blood-purifying properties, and stimulates the metabolism.
