Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g Camembert(s), ripe
  • 200 g Limburger (“Stinkerkäs”), we call it brick cheese
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 tsp caraway powder
  • 1 shot of beer
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

simple and quick preparation

Cut or shred the Camembert and Limburger into pieces. In a large bowl, combine the cheese with the cream cheese and softened butter. Finely dice the red onion and stir in. Stir in the beer and caraway seeds (you can also make it without beer if you like). Season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. Serve the Grupften with good farmhouse bread on a bread board. Garnish with some onion and paprika. Enjoy!
