Red dip, ideal for celebrations

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g quark
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Chive rolls
  • Sunflower oil or safflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Vegetarian, easy and quick

Cut the tomatoes, peppers, and onions into small pieces. Add the garlic and onions to the pan with a little sunflower or safflower oil and fry. Add the peppers and tomatoes and simmer until the tomatoes have lost a lot of their liquid. Remove all ingredients from the pan and puree. Mix with the quark. Season the dip to taste with salt, pepper, paprika, and chives. Serve the dip. My recommendation: great for finger food (e.g., carrot sticks or strips of pepper), or as a side dish for potatoes.
