Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 small can of anchovies, drained
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled and chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Swedish anchovy egg salad

Melt the butter in a pan and fry the diced onions until golden brown. Add the anchovies and fry, stirring, until they break apart. Mix in the chopped eggs and heat briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on toasted bread or pumpernickel.
