Wash the lettuce leaves and shake dry. Wash the tomatoes, pat dry, and slice. Peel the onions, finely dice one onion, and slice the other into rings. Form the dough into 6 equal-sized burgers. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meat burgers on both sides. Meanwhile, cut the hamburger buns crosswise and spread a thin layer of tzatziki on the undersides. Place two lettuce leaves on each burger, then place the meat burgers on top. Then place the top halves on top and serve the gyro burgers as finger food or with a portion of French fries with mayo and/or ketchup.
