Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g meat (gyros)
- 200 g pasta (kritharaki), Greek rice noodles
- 1 large can of mushrooms
- 400 g tomato puree
- 100 g cream
- 150 ml milk
- 150 g processed cheese
- 100 ml white wine
- pepper
- Salt
- oregano
- 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated

It couldn’t be easier
Place the gyros in a baking dish and sprinkle the uncooked kritharaki noodles over the top. Drain the mushrooms, slice them, and spread them over the noodles. Pour the tomato puree over the noodles. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Heat the cream, milk, and processed cheese in a saucepan. Pour in the wine and bring to a boil. Pour the sauce over the casserole and sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese. Then bake in the oven at 175°C (350°F) for 1 hour. It also tastes great at a party.
