Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of pizza dough with sauce
  • 750 g meat (gyros), seasoned
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 3 onions
  • 2 packs of feta cheese
  • 2 packs of cheese (slices)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of quark (low-fat quark, 250g)
  • 4 tsp garlic, granulated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Prepare the pizza dough and sauce according to the package instructions and place on a greased, large baking sheet. Sear the gyro meat over high heat and spread it on the dough. Sprinkle the sliced ​​onions and diced bell peppers on top. Sprinkle with the diced feta cheese and bake the whole thing in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for about 10 minutes. Then place the sliced ​​cheese on top and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes. Make the dip with the sour cream, quark, garlic, and salt and pepper if desired, and serve. It also tastes good with tzatziki.
