Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 pork schnitzels (180 g each)
  • 2 onions
  • 4 peppers, pickled
  • some salt
  • 3 sprigs of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix the olive oil, thyme, oregano, and paprika in a bowl. Crush the garlic and stir in. Cut the schnitzel into small, thin strips and toss with the spiced oil. Marinate the mixture for 15 minutes (best at room temperature). Slice the onions and pepperoni into small rings, making sure to remove the stems. Remove the meat from the marinade and season with salt. Then brown it all over in a large non-stick pan over high heat. Add the onions and cook for another 5 minutes over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the schnitzel with the finely chopped parsley and pepperoni rings.
