Hachelbicher coffee strips

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s), size M
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp instant coffee powder, more or less to taste
  • 6 cl eggnog
  • 6 tsp coffee cream
  • 150 g flour
  • 85 g cornstarch
  • n. B. Sugar for sprinkling
  • 100 g dark chocolate coating

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cream the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, salt, and instant coffee powder until fluffy. Then stir in the egg liqueur and coffee cream. Add the flour and cornstarch and mix well again. Preheat the oven to 170°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Fill a piping bag with the batter and pipe strips approximately 5-8 cm long onto the baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar, if desired. Bake the coffee strips for 10-14 minutes, depending on their thickness. Allow the baked coffee strips to cool completely and, if desired, cover with the dark chocolate coating melted in a water bath.
