Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for frying
  • 500 g minced beef
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Paprika powder, sweet
  • n. B. Cinnamon powder
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 150 ml ketchup
  • 400 ml diet cola
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Peel and dice the yellow bell pepper. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions in the oil. Add the minced meat and fry until crispy. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, or cinnamon if desired. Add the garlic and yellow bell pepper, and fry for a further 2 minutes. Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and add them. In a measuring jug, mix the cola with the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Then deglaze the pan with the liquid and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes. Serve with onion baguette or white bread.
