The perfect half fried chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 piece Ready-To-Cook chicken halves
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 2 tsp Sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp Hot paprika powder
- 1 Msp Smoked paprika powder
- 5 piece Peppercorns
- 2 tsp Coarse sea salt
- Olive oil
- Finely crush the spices in a mortar. Place the chicken halves side by side in a large baking dish and drizzle or rub olive oil all around. Rub the spice mixture evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat (or convection 180 degrees) on the middle rack for about 35 – 45 minutes until golden yellow and crispy. Possibly turn on the grill for the last two minutes so that the skin becomes even crispier.
- The spices for the chicken can be varied as desired and completely different spices can be used. This fits z. B. cream potatoes, cucumber salad or cabbage salad. For the white cabbage salad, remove 500 g white cabbage from the stalk and slice into strips. Mix with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1.5 teaspoon sugar and knead well with your hands. Let it soak for 10-15 minutes. Mix 3 tablespoons of herb vinegar, 3 tablespoons of olive oil and a little chopped parsley with a little pepper. Mix with the cabbage.
