Ingredients

  • 600 g Halibut fillets
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 0,25 liter Cream 30% fat
  • 250 g Cream cheese
  • 400 g Mushrooms brown
  • 1 casket Fresh cress
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 2 Garlic cloves

Instructions

Preparation:

  • First, we clean the mushrooms and rinse them briefly under running water. Dry well in a kitchen towel and then cut into slices.
  • Wash the halibut fillets, pat dry with paper towels and cut into large pieces.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter and rub it with garlic.

Preparation:

  • Let 2 tbsp butter froth in a large pan over high heat. Fry the mushrooms in it, turning them often until they smell fragrant. Salt and pepper and drain in a colander. Catch the frying fat.
  • Put the fat back in the pan and add the cream and cheese. Stir everything well until the cheese has melted.
  • Now we add the mushrooms again and season everything vigorously. I also added a chopped garlic clove (therefore 2 cloves of garlic in the RZ specification).
  • Now we put the halibut fillets in the baking dish and pour the mushroom-cheese-cream sauce over it and smooth everything out nice and smooth.
  • In the meantime, the oven has been preheated to 175 ° C (gas: level 2-3). Now slide the baking dish onto the top rail and bake until the sauce gets a color.
  • Finally, sprinkle the cress over the casserole and serve.
  • If you like, you can add small jacket potatoes tossed in butter and parsley.
