Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of cheese (Halloumi), cut into strips
  • 2 onions
  • Spice mix (gyros spice)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • oil
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

vegetarian

Heat oil in a pan. Slice the onions into thin rings. Fry the halloumi strips well on all sides. Only when the halloumi is lightly browned, add the onions. Season with plenty of gyro seasoning and the garlic and continue frying. Finally, season with salt and pepper. Serve with tzatziki, coleslaw, or fries.
