Ham baguette

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 white bread stick(s), approx. 30 cm
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 150 g salmon ham
  • 100 g cheese (I prefer a mild Gouda)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

hearty in taste, quick to prepare

Preheat the oven to 160°C (top/bottom heat). Cut the baguette in half to create a bottom and a top. Cut both types of ham and the cheese into small squares. Slice the spring onions as thinly as possible. The thinner the slices, the better the flavor will be distributed. Either slice the garlic thinly or crush it in a garlic press. Mix all ingredients well in a bowl until you get a smooth mixture. Now spread the mixture evenly between the baguette halves. Bake the halves on the middle rack for about 15-20 minutes. This depends a bit on how crispy you want the baguette. Once it has cooled a bit, you can cut the halves into smaller pieces if you like.
