Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g pasta, macaroni, cut into thirds before cooking
- 100 g ham, cut into cubes
- 100 ml cream
- 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
- salt and pepper
- 1 handful of cheese, grated, for topping
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Break the macaroni in half twice, dividing it into thirds. Cook al dente according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta. Melt the cream and 100g of Emmental cheese in a saucepan to create a delicious cheese sauce. Add the diced ham and then toss everything together with the pasta. Transfer to a baking dish and top with another handful of grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, turning on the broiler for the last 3 minutes to create a wonderfully crispy crust. Serve hot.
