Ham croissants made from yeast dough

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 850 g flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 60 g sugar
  • 50 g yeast
  • 100 g margarine
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 egg yolk, for brushing
  • 1 pack of cooked ham
  • ½ pack of cheese, grated
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • ½ jar Miracle Whip
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Rest time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Knead all the dough ingredients thoroughly and then let them rise for 40 minutes. Mix the filling ingredients together thoroughly. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, roll out into a square approximately 3 mm thick, and cut into triangles with sides approximately 10 cm long. Place approximately ½ – 1 teaspoon of filling on one side and roll into croissants. Place the croissants on the baking sheet and brush with egg yolk. Bake on the middle rack at approximately 200°C for approximately 10 – 15 minutes.
