Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g puff pastry, frozen
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 egg(s), separated
  • 150 g Gouda (Pikantje Gouda)
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 18 minutes; Total time approx. 48 minutes

hearty and spicy

Finely chop the ham, onion, and parsley and mix with the crème fraîche, egg white, and grated Pikantje. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Spread the prepared filling onto the thawed puff pastry, roll it up, and cut the roll into 2-3 cm thick slices. Brush with beaten egg yolk and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Delicious served warm or cold.
