Simple and fast
Defrost the puff pastry according to the package instructions or remove it from the refrigerator, roll it out on a cutting board, and preheat the oven to 200°C. Spread the crème fraîche generously over the rolled-out puff pastry, even right up to the edges, as otherwise the beginning and end pieces would consist only of puff pastry. Cut the bacon into small pieces or sprinkle the diced bacon over the puff pastry, again over the edges if possible. If you prefer salmon or other ingredients, you can spread them on top following the same steps. Finally, if desired, scatter the chives and cheese on top. Now roll up the longer side of the puff pastry and shape it into a log. Cut the log into pieces approximately 1-1.5 cm in size and place the flat side on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the mini tarte flambée rolls for 20-25 minutes. It’s perfect as a small snack or as a party snack, as everyone can decide which ingredients they’d like.
