Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g pineapple pieces, lightly sugared from the can
  • 400 g pizza sauce
  • 500 g minced beef or ham, sausage, salami, …
  • 1 onion(s), if desired
  • 1 bell pepper(s), if desired
  • 1 pack of pizza dough or other dough from the refrigerated section
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Drain the pineapple. Dice the onion and finely chop the bell pepper. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and brown, adding the onions and bell pepper if desired. Drain the mixture; there should be as little liquid as possible. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Meanwhile, line a lasagna dish with the dough; there’s no need to leave any edges. Mix the ground beef mixture with the pizza sauce, fold in the pineapple, and fill the lasagna dish. Sprinkle generously with cheese and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
