Hawaiian puff pastry parcels

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry (frozen)
  • 1 cup of cream cheese (200 g)
  • 1 can pineapple, drained
  • 1 package of cooked ham
  • e.g. parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry according to the package instructions. Place the cream cheese in a bowl. Dice the pineapple and cooked ham. Chop the parsley. Add everything and mix thoroughly (Tip: I always use the Quickchef for this). Season with salt and pepper. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares approximately 10 cm x 10 cm. Spread the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square. Press the respective corners (top left and top right) together at the tips to form a kind of boat. Place the boats on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 15-20 minutes. It’s easy to prepare in advance and makes a delicious party snack – whether hot or cold. Tip: If you have any leftover cream cheese mixture, it makes an excellent spread and will keep in the refrigerator for about a week.
