Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 300 g sugar
  • 460 g hazelnuts, ground
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 35 minutes

Beat the egg whites until stiff, then add the sugar a spoonful at a time and fold in. Add the ground nuts and chill the mixture for three hours. Then form into small balls and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 10-15 minutes. Makes about 50 balls.
