Häckerle with Oil Sardine Fillets

The perfect häckerle with oil sardine fillets recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 rifle Sardine fillets
  • 3 Hard-Boiled eggs
  • 1 Red onion
  • 3 Gherkins pickles
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Rose paprika powder
  1. Boil eggs. Chop the onion and gherkins into small pieces. Drain oil sardines well. Cut up the eggs and sardines with a fork and add to the onion and gherkins. Mix everything well and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. It goes well with black bread, baguette or rolls.
