Mix the eggs with the applesauce, low-fat quark, and whole-wheat flour. Purée the oats with a hand blender and stir in. Add the baking powder, desired spices, and sweetener (amount to taste). If you like, you can now fold in the raisins and finally add the finely chopped, peeled apples. Line a loaf pan (28 x 11 cm) with baking paper and pour in the batter. Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes at 160°C (convection oven, preheated). Use the skewer test to check that the batter is cooked through. Of course, it doesn’t taste like a “real” apple pie, but with this recipe you don’t have to worry about gaining 1 kg on the scale if you eat too much. It’s also very moist. The whole loaf, without the raisins, has 1680 kcal and weighs 1200 g.
