Hearty fish casserole

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 4 fish fillets (e.g. redfish or pollock)
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 cucumber(s), sour, cut into thin slices
  • 6 slice(s) bacon, thin (raw ham)
  • some mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup(s) wine, white, or broth
  • salt and pepper
  • Broth, granulated, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Lightly salt and pepper the fish fillets and layer them in a casserole dish with tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon, mushrooms, and spring onions. It looks especially nice in a transparent dish. Lightly season each layer with pepper, salt, and boiled broth. Caution! The bacon also adds flavor. Finally, pour in the white wine. If you don’t like wine, you can also use broth. Serve with rice.
