Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g fish fillet(s) (pollock fillet)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 4 onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • some mustard, hot
  • some butter, for greasing
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp cheese (Gouda), grated
  • Thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the fish fillet under running water, pat dry, and season with lemon juice. Peel and slice the tomatoes. Heat the oil and fry the sliced ​​onions. Pat the fish dry and brush with the mustard. Cut into approximately 3 cm wide strips. Arrange the fish in a buttered baking dish, alternating the tomato slices and onion rings, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, and thyme. Finally, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes. Serve with parsley potatoes.
