Hearty onion bread from the bread maker

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 250 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 10 g salt
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 shot of malt beer
  • 70 g fried onions
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
  • 3 cocktail tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 15 g oil
  • 1 small bunch of fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • pepper
  • Pizza seasoning
  • Garlic salt
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 handful of bacon cubes
  • 2 tbsp, heaped low-fat curd cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 10 minutes

First, add the liquid and finely chopped ingredients to the bread maker, then add the flour and spices. Set the bread maker as follows: medium browning, large size, and regular bread. After four hours of operation, the result is a light and delicious onion bread, perfect as a barbecue side dish, for example.
