Scrambled eggs with good ham and onions – keeps you going all morning
First, peel the onion and chop into small cubes. Trim the fatty strips from the ham and chop finely. Heat the pan and melt the butter in it, add the fat pieces from the ham and sauté for about 1 minute. Add the onions and sauté over low heat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, chop the ham into pieces approximately 1 x 1 cm in size. Crack the eggs and mix them in a bowl or saucepan. As soon as the onions start to become translucent, add the ham pieces and fry briefly over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and stir slowly until the desired consistency is reached. Serve with some fresh baguette and offer salt and pepper.
