Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Heat the milk until lukewarm. Then combine with the yeast and sugar. Add the salt and oil to the well and pour the milk-yeast mixture over it. Mix everything together and knead well. Cover with a cloth, keep warm, and let it rise until the dough has noticeably increased in size. Knead the dough again well, roll it out flat, and spread it thickly with herb butter. Cut into strips of varying widths and roll them into snails. Place them close together in a greased and floured springform pan and let it rise again in a warm place. Bake at 150°C (fan oven) or 175°C (conventional oven) for about 25 minutes.
