Herb Butter and Other Delicious Barbecues
The perfect herb butter and other delicious barbecues recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Marinated chicken fillet
- Garlic chives very finely chopped
- Parsley chopped very finely
- Lemon balm freshly chopped finely
- Finely chopped dill
- Rosemary needles
- Fresh oregano
- Lemon pepper
- Salt roughly freshly ground
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Freshly ground pepper colored
- 4 Steaks for grilling
- 1 Onion
- 4 tablespoon Mustard
- 4 tablespoon Bbq sauce
- 0,5 liter Beer
- Coarse salt
- 700 g Chicken fillet
- Herbs as above
- 0,5 liter Beer
- Salt and pepper
- Take the butter out of the fridge several hours before preparing it – it must be very soft. Put the butter in a bowl and season with lemon pepper and salt. Wash and finely chop the herbs, then stir into the butter with a little olive oil and freshly grated nutmeg and let it set in the refrigerator.
- To serve, cut the roll into slices and drape the hearts around it, decorate with fresh herb flowers or simply enjoy on fresh toast.
- The beer mustard steaks-Wash the meat and cut off any greasy or firm spots. Salt and pepper the meat on both sides. Now brush one side with mustard and the other side with BBQ sauce. Peel and roughly chop the onion. Now layer the meat in a sealable tin, put the onion on top and pour enough beer over the meat that the meat is completely covered. The meat that has now been prepared best to put it in the fridge overnight. The next day, simply take it out of the stock and put it on the grill.
- Cut the chicken fillet to a fairly even thickness. Put the herbs that we have left over from the herb butter in a mortar, pour a little beer over them and squeeze out the herbs, season this herb marinade with salt and pepper and spread on the meat, finally baste with beer again and place in the fridge with the steaks.
- My barbecue evening yesterday was a great success. Everyone enjoyed it. I also had braised sausage from the butcher I trusted and there was also tomato salad and tomato-mozzarella basil slices. Unfortunately, I did not take any photos while barbecuing.
