Herb Cream Dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of cream cheese, 200 g
  • ½ cup sour cream or sour cream, 125 g
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp 8 herbs, frozen
  • 1 handful of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

simple, with few ingredients

Put the cream cheese in a bowl. Stir in the sour cream and mustard. Fold in the frozen herbs and chives, and season with salt and pepper. You can eat it with baguette, meat, on breakfast bread—basically anything. A hit at every barbecue. The mustard gives the dip an interesting flavor. To make sure the dip lives up to its name, I add just enough of the herb mix. Just when you think it’s enough, it’s usually still not enough; it’s best to have someone else taste it. To include some fresh herbs, I usually use whatever I have at home; the chives usually suffer as a result.
