Ingredients for 7 servings:
- 1 white cabbage
- 250 g fat
- ½ tsp salt
- some pepper
- 100 g sugar, more or less if needed
- 1 point pasta
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
White cabbage with noodles
Finely chop the white cabbage. Heat the fat in a pan and add the cabbage. Season with salt and pepper and simmer until everything is nicely browned (you’ll need to stir frequently, as everything burns very quickly—that’s why there needs to be so much fat). Add the sugar and simmer for another 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Add the pasta to the pan and stir well. Serve hot. Tip: I put everything in a sieve to drain off the fat.
