Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 500 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (fruit vinegar)
  • 500 g spelt flour (wholemeal spelt flour)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

quickly prepared

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Add salt, fruit vinegar, and flour. Mix all ingredients together first on the lowest speed with a dough hook, then mix on the highest speed. Pour the very runny dough into a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 200°C. The dough doesn’t need to rise, and the oven doesn’t need to be preheated. The bread dough can also be wonderfully modified with herbs and spices; it’s delicious as a party or barbecue bread.
