Herring in the horseradish-ginger sea

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 herring fillets (double fillets)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 tsp, heaped ginger, fermented
  • 150 g cream cheese with horseradish
  • 3 tbsp horseradish, freshly grated
  • ½ tsp fish sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Finely dice the onion and ginger. Finely grate the horseradish. Mix all ingredients, except the fish, and let stand for 1 hour. Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces and add to the sauce.
