Herring Salad …

The perfect herring salad … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Bismarck herring fillets
  • 0,5 Small onion
  • 1 Gherkins
  • 0,25 Apple fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon Whipped cream
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • Vinegar
  • Pepper
  1. Boil the egg for 10 minutes and rinse. Rinse, dry and cut the herring fillets. Peel onion and chop finely. Cut the gherkin into small cubes. Peel the apple, remove the core and also cut into small cubes.
  2. Put everything in a bowl. Peel the egg. Cut half an egg into cubes and add to the other ingredients. Mix the mayonnaise with the cream and add. Mix everything carefully. Add sugar, vinegar and pepper to taste. Let it steep for one to two hours.
