Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 herring fillets (approx. 90 g)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch dill, chopped
  • ½ gherkin(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, best
  • 1 tbsp raspberry vinegar
  • ¼ sour apple (e.g. Granny Smith)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • n. B. Pfeffer

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

super tasty and easy

Chop the herring fillets into small pieces, dice the onion, add the dill, the apple into small pieces, and the gherkin into small pieces. Place in a bowl. Add the olive oil, raspberry vinegar, and a pinch of sugar. Mix everything well and season with pepper. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Serve as an appetizer with fresh bread and butter.
