Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of matjes fillet(s), approx. 250 – 300 g, cut into strips
  • 1 apple, quartered, sliced
  • 1 can of corn, approx. 300 g
  • ½ red bell pepper(s), cut into short strips
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), chopped
  • 1 dashes lemon juice or balsamic vinegar
  • some oil from the matjes package
  • some pepper
  • some chives or cress to sprinkle over

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

light and rich in vitamins, suitable for bread or rösti

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Let it sit in the refrigerator for half an hour, then adjust seasoning if desired. Sprinkle with fresh chives or cress to serve.
