Hip Steak in Brandy Sauce

The perfect hip steak in brandy sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Beef rump steak
  • 1 tsp Colored pepper with allspice
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 80 ml Brandy
  • 1 tbsp Sour cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Oil
  • Lemon zest
  1. Peel and roughly chop the garlic.
  2. Grind the pepper and grate with the garlic to a paste.
  3. Mix the paste in the brandy and place the beef rump from the butcher of trust in it.
  4. Let it marinate in peace, turning every now and then.
  5. Fry the meat in a little oil over a medium heat on both sides for about 2 minutes.
  6. Remove the beef from the pan, pour in the marinade, SWITCH OFF THE EXHAUST HOOD !!! and light it up courageously.
  7. When the fire is out, stir in the sour cream and season the sauce with salt, pepper and a little lemon zest.
  8. Put the meat back in the sauce briefly.
