Homemade bruschetta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 anchovies in oil
  • ½ tsp oregano, dried
  • 100 g cheese (Gruyère)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

delicious, quick and easy

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Chop the capers. Spread the white bread slices with butter and place two tomato slices, two anchovy fillets, and a few capers on each slice. Season the bread with oregano, salt, and pepper, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the bruschetta on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Serve hot.
