Homemade Maultaschen

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 350 g sausage meat
  • 200 g creamed spinach
  • 15 g parsley, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 package of dough (Maultaschen dough)

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Combine the ground meat with the eggs and sausage meat, and season well with salt and pepper. Stir in the spinach and parsley. Cut the dough into about 20 rectangles, approximately 20 x 15 cm. Spoon the Maultaschen filling onto the dough and seal the pockets. Heat a pot of salted water. Cook the Maultaschen for about 10 minutes on high heat.
