Homemade smoked chili peppers

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 chili peppers
  • Smoking chips (beech chips)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

Arrange the cleaned chili peppers whole on a smoking grate. Smoke the peppers with beechwood shavings in a smoker for 12 hours. The smoking time can be adjusted according to taste. We find 12-14 hours works best. You can use the chili peppers as a spicy ingredient in hot dips, sauces, and other warm dishes that benefit from a little smoky flavor.
