  • 5 garlic bulbs

Separate the garlic bulbs into cloves and peel them. Grate the cloves into thin slices or, if you prefer, slice them with a knife. Place the pieces on a baking tray lined with baking paper in the oven at 50°C (fan-assisted) and let them dry thoroughly for about 3-5 hours. Place a wooden spoon in the oven door to allow the moisture to escape. Let the garlic cool, then grind it in a blender. This requires a bit of patience; just do a few grinds at a time and let it cool again. Pour the granules into a screw-top jar or into a grinder. Use 1/2 teaspoon for seasoning. It will keep for several months.
