Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 10 chicken wings
- 60 g flour
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper or chili powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 50 ml barbecue sauce, smoky
- 25 ml honey
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
For the seasoning, mix the flour, salt, chili powder, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl. Rinse the chicken wings under running water and toss them in the seasoning. Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat). Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet and roast for about 40 minutes. For the glaze, mix the barbecue sauce and honey well in a bowl. Remove the chicken wings from the oven after 40 minutes and glaze. Then roast the chicken wings at 240°C (475°F) for about 5-8 minutes. Alternatively, the chicken wings can be cooked without glazing, and the glaze can then be served as a dip.
