Honey Cornflakes Cups

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 cups cornflakes
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 60 g sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 25 paper cups (4 cm base diameter)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

First of all: You can use either regular coffee cups or coffee mugs for measuring. If you use mugs, the mugs won’t be as sweet. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and dissolve the sugar and honey in it. Place the cornflakes in a large bowl. Pour the butter mixture over the cornflakes and mix until the cornflakes are completely coated with the sweet mixture. Drop the mixture into the paper baking cups with a teaspoon and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (convection oven) for 12 minutes. Tip: At Christmas time, I add a little cinnamon to the butter and sugar mixture.
