Honey-glazed chicken breast with bacon from the air fryer

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 slices of bacon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard well. Wash the chicken breasts, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper. Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon. The ends of the bacon can be secured with toothpicks. Generously coat the chicken breasts with the honey marinade. Place the prepared chicken breasts in the air fryer and cook for approximately 18-20 minutes at 200°C, until cooked through and the bacon is crispy. Halfway through the cooking time, turn the chicken breasts over and brush them again with the marinade. Once cooked, remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer, remove the toothpicks, and serve.
